Ten riders not doing Mother’s Day gathered at Wetherspoons and set off out of Truro via Tregolls Road.
Niq (late as usual) caught up with us at Tresillian and we continued on up to Probus and through Trewithen then down to Grampound. We then turned right towards Creed and on towards Tregony before turning left through narrow muddy lanes to Goviley Major. Jonathan left us here and returned to Truro, Mother’s Day appointment.
We then carried on through Tippets Shop and then down into Veryan . We arrived right on time for our booked table at 12pm. Soup or Baguettes then we left as the The New Inn was filling up with Mothers.
Rod and Dave took a different route back . Eight of us headed for the King Harry Ferry via Treworga and Philleigh and Ian went towards Tregony and on to Mawgan Porth. Niq ,Paul and Roz left us at Playing Place and then there were four back to Truro. Melinda and Hugh picked up their cars in Truro, John G headed for Shortlanesend and John F back to Tresillian. We come from all directions for the pleasure of riding with TCC so 33 miles from Truro and back but most did more miles to get there.
